Photo Diary #4 - Selamat Hari Raya!

Salam Syawal..

So, here how i started my Raya! it was already the 6th of Syawal when me and my beloved friends gathered and visited our another friend's house. they are my hostelmates/classmates/schoolmates from the year of 2001-2005. yup, i've never met some of them for almost 5 years! so, it was a one day full of joyful and memories. :)

We begin our journey from Kajang --> Puchong --> Sg. Buloh and back to Kajang and Bangi. it was all fun and normal until one of the car accidentally involved with an accident at the federal highway. they hit a DOG! i was in another car just behind them and we saw the unfortunate dog being dragged for almost 2m and we can just screamed without doing anything~ we don't know what happened to the poor dog since the car itself was quite bad.. (><)

Yup, we stopped for a while to deal with the 'trauma' as well as gathering back our Raya mood before continuing the journey. Alhamdulillah, everything was running smooth after that and we ended our Raya at 12 a.m safely.

Insyallah, we have planned another 'Convoy Raya' on this Saturday since one of our friend is getting married. Congrats Mr. Radzi and thanks for the event as lot of our friends will be coming tomorrow. yeahhh..another gathering!! so, wait for the updates yarr.....Selamat Hari Raya!  :)

Look #59 - The Look of the Eidulfitri 2012

Salam Syawal..

Finally, here is my Eidulfitri 2012 look in which i'm not following any trendiest trend of the season. furthermore, this modern kebaya was actually bought 2 weeks before Ramadhan for attending my cousin's E-Day and was being worn only that once! thus, i decided to just having it as my Raya outfit...

Sounds boring huh?! yup, this year was the worst Raya i've ever had. there is nothing special about it except on the 6th Syawal when me and my hostel-mates visited our friend's house around K.L and Kajang. assuredly, i will write a special post for it since it was a very long day with an adventurous story between it.

Talking about that simple but 'hot' modern kebaya. personally, i love the cutting and the colour so much since it successfully outlined my curve and helping me to look much much more slimmer than the 'real' one. hahaha....the effect was bombastic! Oh, i got it at RM129 and for me, it is OK lah~ because i don't fancy the material of the bottom part although the detailed on the top is a very nice one.

Thus, please do not expect for another Raya outfit because i got none of it. yup, this is the only one since i'm not really into the mood but Thanked God as i saved a lot on the shopping part...Alhamdulillah. then, again and again, i wish you guys a HAPPY EID MUBARAK and lets fast for the Syawal 6th! InsyAllah...

Salam Eidul-Fitri 2012

Salam Syawal 2012, i wish a very HAPPY EID MUBARAK to all the Muslims all over the world. sadly, the Ramadhan has left us again and hopefully we'll still get the chance to meet it on the next year..Insyallah. i guess lot of you were already starting to visit the family members, clumsily eating loads of oily and fat food haha and if you are lucky enough, collecting the 'angpow Raya'. haiyoo..chill guys as we still had 29 days to go!  =)

thus, i'd like to take this opportunity to say SORRY on every mistakes that i've done directly or indirectly. no matter what it takes, the bad words a.k.a the curses that i've used in here or maybe any sensitive story that i've wrote that might effected you emotionally. hehe..the cliche quote, everbody made a mistake! therefore, i'm very sorry and do please forgive me...

OK, i know that my digital Raya card here is quite annoying to your sight and was overacting! haha..the reason was i wanted to give the teaser of my Raya look which i'm wearing a turban style hijab today. so, those photos were captured last night when i was trying my best following the tutorial from the Hijabista mag. thank you for sharing the steps, Sheril Sheridan.  =)

lastly, i wish you had a GREAT Raya with the beloved family and friends. mine was just like the previous-previous Raya in which i don't really had the opportunity to be super happy on this kinda festival. i'm not hating it but i'm not really enjoying it. sorry, as it is extremely privacy to be discuss in detail...

again, HAPPY EID MUBARAK 2012 to all my dearest readers. thanks for all the love and supports and i LOVE you soooooo much!!

Look #58 - The Most Casual Evening

i know your first impression would be treng treng treng...i'm looking slimmer!! hehe..Alhamdulillah, my diet program is working and i'm still trying very hard to loss more weights as to achieve my ideal weight, i need to remove atleast 10kg! hmmm...that is my ultimate goal right now.

lets talk about the ordinary outfit here. the knit sweater had been worn before but the jeans and the wedges are new items. both are from F21 and Vincci. you can hardly seeing me walking in a heels/wedges on a casual day but since i bought that wedges, i was like wearing it non-stop. its very comfortable and successfully executing my feminine side which i always cover it up with a pair of jeans. =P

then, i'm sure the girls are still busying with their Raya preparation. whilst, i'm doing nothing here, no baju kurung baru and no plan for shopping as i'm not in the mood at all. hmmm..to be honest, my life is quite complicated when it comes to Raya time and i'm freaking hate it. sorry readers, this is too personal...

thus, i wish you guys a HAPPY EIDULFITRI @ SELAMAT HARI RAYA and i'd likely wanna apologize for all the bad words or the curses that i've used in here. sorry for everything and i wish you guys had a blessing Raya celebration..insyallah.. :)

New Items from the "F Block"

i'm so sure that right now, all the girls are hardly hunting for Raya. what is the different between man and woman at this moment? haha..fyi, woman needs extra time since we got extra findings and needs! haha..as we had to find the latest style of baju raya, the matching scarf for it, the killer shoes, the bag, the chunky accessories to be pair with and the blah-blah-blah.

so, this two items HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH my Raya preparation. Dush!! haha..i just so excited to share on this shop, "F block" which i've been looking for it since the day i saw it in the CLEO mag. it mentioned that the shop is located at Damansara and fyi, i always stay overnight at my sister's home at Kota Damansara but i failed finding the shop until last week when i stumbled upon it at the Sunway Giza. lor..its just like 2km from the house! =P

ok, now lets talk about the items and the pricing. you will be surprise with all the eye-catching accessories hanging in there including the scarves collection. it was all stunning and i just like wanna grab the whole things as the pricing is affordable and can be categorized as cheap for a location like Damansara~

besides, i'm in love with the packaging! yup, their plastic bag is the one with the ribbon on it, its very cute and sweet. hehe..well, although i'm not attracted to the clothing line but i'm so sure that i'll come back soon to grab some more necklaces and scarves! (>"<)

then dearest readers, GOOD LUCK for your Raya preparation and a reminder for myself as well, shop wisely and don't be greedy with the sales!! haiyoooooooo...~

Alhamdulillah, in the end i've got this time to share with you one of my Ramadhan activity. yup, it was held on the very first week and right now, we're already in the very last week of Ramadhan! as usual, sorry for the late posting as i was quite busy handling lot of stuff. huhu..

Ok, I'm not trying to brag on how great i am but seriously, i love doing charity so much. therefore, i've been waiting to join such program. so, when there is an opportunity like this, i just can't help from being part of the crew.

Well, the other reason that made me so excited to join the night was meeting back my primary schoolmates whom i haven't met for almost 11 years! yup, the Alumni Double 8 is our group's nick which was created to gather back all the batch 1995-2000 of Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Taman Ehsan. thus, this gathering is a very meaningful one for me since i moved to Kajang in the year of 2001.

Therefore, we wish our small effort here is being blessed by The Greatest Allah S.W.T. we were extremely glad to see those happy face of the child. hopefully, they were enjoying the night as we enjoyed it too..Insyallah~ ^^

The HIJABISTA story

Salam Ramadhan..

Atlast, i have my first HIJABISTA mag copy! frankly, it was not my intention to be the loyal reader of it since this new-born magazine is quite pricey. yup, i'm considering RM10 for a local magazine as expensive! it gonna be an exceptional case for the photographer skills and tips mag or the wedding mag that showcasing lot of pro photos in it~

so, the main reason that attracted me to atlast buy this copy is the Eidulfitri theme of it. i was like looking forward to the bunch of hijab inspirations that also featuring my ex-schoolmate a.k.a the famous hijabista, Aishah Amin in it, hehe..thanks dear for successfully made me spent my money on it! :D

now, my verdict of this mag is it is full of inspiration and fresh ideas. yup, the hijab styling is bold, urban-chic and very trendy!

however, some of them (for me, it would be lot of them~) are too 'over-reacting' in another word nobody would ever wear it casually besides the model who shoot a photo in a studio for the purpose of photoshoot! seriously, the layers and the colours combo are quite scary duhh~ LOL why would i spend my money to see the thing that is 'unreal' for me to wear??! hahaha...plus, i hate the cover of the gorgeous Dian Pelangi there in which i'm sure there are more beautiful photos instead of that one. huh!

i'm sorry if you are the big fan of the WHOLE mag because i'm not saying that the HIJABISTA mag is not good. seriously, i was soooo glad to know that a new mag is specially made for the hijabi readers was born in Malaysia. unfortunately, i was disappointed by the price and now, the styling. sometimes, the less is the best.

hey, but still credit the girls from the Sunsilk hijab tutorial section since it was very trendy and 'not-messy-at-all'!! yup, all the styling are my fav and i chose to wear the turban+hijab style by the pretty Sheril Sheridan for this coming raya. hmmm...i'm so excited over it! ^^
