LOOK #3 - MAXI dress in 2010??

 

These were captured on the last Tuesday

when my bestie was craving to have a steamboat

for our iftar..

hehehehee..
for sure there will be an entry of
IFTAR MENU (3)

but as for now
i just want to ramble about my outfit that evening
this is the ONLY dress that i have in my collection
BECAUSE it is an experimental trend by myself
usually my sense of fashion
is the JEANS and the TEE........*bored*
but when the 1st time i saw this dazzling dress
i know i want to have it!
for the 1st month it was STAY STILL in my wardrobe
now..i have the CONFIDENT to ROCK it babe..heh

MAXI DRESS

is a long-lasting fashion style
as it become wider choice
season by season
the PROVE is it is still the number 1 choice
for this SUMMER 2010 collections
the changes here are the designs & patterns
as it it focus more on the abstracts
rather that floral..

THANKS a lot to the trendsetter
of the MAXI DRESS combining with several cardigans and jackets!
as now it becomes one of the TOP PICK
of a stylish MUSLIMAH!

girls wore dress with an inner tee
huhuuu..as for myself I JUST DON'T LIKE IT
its BETTER to mix it with the short cardigan or leather jacket
but its typical rite..?
why don't you throw on
a LONG-cardigan or a boyfriend LONG-blazer

BOOK that i have read!!
don't be shock huh..
coz this is my VERY 1st time
posting a bout the book review
basically,
i don't read a lot
in other word i DON'T INTERESTED in reading!
waaarghhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
no seriously...

i do always have the intention to read
but to practice it..hurmmmm..not really

BUT THIS BOOK is totally a DIFFERENT!

as i go to my friend's room
i saw it lying helpless on the floor
then, i take it and started to read the FIRST SENTENCE
and...
WOOWwwww...i knew that i'll FINISH this book
(hahahha..coz usually when i read an ENGLISH novel....
HALF only lor)

thus,
what is soo0o interesting about this one..
lets begin with the author
she is LYDIA TEH..
a woman, housewife, mom and A BLOGGER!
yup..thats the answer
her story based on her blog post!!
and in a MANGLISH-lor!
*MANGLISH means MALAY+english ^____^
well actually Mangled English..
which is easy to understand
and which is the language that i used here in my blog..heh heh

but what is the thing that most captured my interest is
the way her thinking as a pure original MALAYSIAN
is REALLY A MALAYSIAN!

IF YOU'RE NOT GETTING WHAT I MEANT...

here is some of  the sub-topics of the book:

1. We're Malaysian-lah, we don't kiss

telling about our culture here where people don't kiss in the public although there are chinese or indian.
she story about her experience when an AUSSIE kiss her as he wanted to say THANK YOU for the dinner!

2. Blame it on the worms

she was expressed her unsatisfied feeling with the typical situation about paying the summons at the police station whereas a group of people (worms a.k.a ULAT) that wanted to pay for several summons. Then they are taking longer time than ever!

3. The one who cuts the grass

this is really a MALAYSIAN culture..she categorized this person who come to cut the grass at her house with THE ONE WHO DISSAPERED, THE ONE WHO BROKE THE CAR WINDOW and etc etc

4. MAGLISH very short one
the culture of using ENGLISH in MALAYSIA..she gave lots of example that i am myself is using it without realize it..heh heh look at those sentence

while i read this book, i kept SMILING and grinning
ok sometimes i was laughing!!

Iftar menu (2) - The Ship Damansara

 

Salam 9th of ramdhan kareem dear reader...

this entry is the 2nd part of my IFTAR menu

now it was WESTERN dishes

ehh org melayu ke ape ni??

hehehehe..

don't worry my 1st choice will always be MALAY types

from the food, culture and of coz MAN!!!

huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...gatai no!  ^_____^

so, as you see above

the selected restaurant is THE SHIP

that is me and my sister FAV steak house 

as our dad always brought us there since our childhood

but now the steak house a.k.a western types of restaurant

are just like a mushroom..there are everywhere

with wide range of prices..depends on the quality itself

huhuuuu..

i know lots of you are already familiar with THE SHIP

but for those who do not have any idea about it

now. lets talk about it!

the venue is at DAMANSARA

there are several other places in K.L

such as Jln T.A.R (in the Pertama Complex) and Bukit Bintang

the range of prices from RM5.90 (drink) to RM80 (can be)

the service is of coz great (BAYAR MAHAL kott..hemmm)

the decoration is SUPERB!

it is based on the interior of the ship

so, you will feel like you are having meal in the ship lor..

the food is of coz HALALlul THAIYIBAN..

make sure you read the description of the menu before you decide on the order..

so what we have here..

the "free" introduction

minute steak (RM29)

black paper chicken chop (RM20.90)

 

chinese fried rice (RM13.90)

 

manggo fresh juice (RM6.90)

 

watermelon juice (RM5.90)

the "free" sirap bandung

hahahahhaa  XD

you know why i put the word "free" like that..

coz you don't have to order them, it will be serve for free

but of coz it was included in the service tax and whatsoever..POYO jer kn!!!

but overall

for sure the food is GOOD as the price

but we will have it

once in a month or maybe once in a year

since i know another BETTER place to have this kind of dishes

without being exaggerate!!

anyway,

we were having fun here..

in a simple way..i can say that
its like you adding something in the material to produce a NEW material
as example..
the biodegradable FOOD CONTAINER
(the paper chocolate colour where you have to pay more for ur food larr)
to produce that thing,
you have to uce this ADDITIONAL OF SUBSTITUTE method!

well, this activity have lots of ADVANTAGES such as:

1. friendly ENVIRONMENT
2. saving ENERGY used
3. ELIMINATE the used of hazardous raw material (ex:PB)
4. LOWER the cost of raw material
5. SAVING the mother earth sources
6. etc etc etc

(looks how LAZY i be when it come to my studies matter..huh)

but still i wanna talk about it
as it is a CHINESE food
and the fact here..I LOVE CHINESE FOOD
as much as MALAY dishes!  >___<
and also sorry because it is only 2 ordered menu up there

BUT IM SURE THAT the others are as good as these!

okeyh..the venue is
at the UPTOWN DAMANSARA food court
the name is STEVEN's WOK CORNER
the food is of coz CHINESE style
the price is AFFORDABLE & SUITABLE
hahahahhaa XD
because it is delly-DELICIOUS ^___^

arghhhh..let me explain the taste of the prawn
as a CHINESE food lover
i LOVE butter fried prawn soo0oo much
so, this dish (i meant stir chili fried prawn)
when it go into your mouth
you can taste the fried butter taste instantly
and the source is so licking the finger!

heemmm..now im licking my own saliva
seeedddaaaapappppppp gillerrrrr!!!!!
seriously, you have to taste it..

looks like the journey took about 3 days huh..

well actually it was estimation of 1 hour for climbing and another 1 hour for descenting
