A short synopsis:

A modern-day take on the "Beauty and the Beast" tale where a New York teen is transformed into a hideous monster in order to find true love. Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer) who is good-looking, smart and rich thinks he is God's gift at his high school. He often to look down on the less-beautiful people as he was so proud with his good-looking gene!

One day he plays a prank on a fellow high school student, Kendra (Mary-Kate Olsen) who, unbeknown to him is a witch. Kendra teaches him a lesson by putting a curse on him making him as beastly on the outside as he is on the inside. He has one year to find someone to fall in love with him or stay like that forever!

Then, here comes Linda Taylor (Vanessa Hudgens) who actually secretly admire Kyle but don't say it to him. She was forced to stay with this ugly beastly since Kyle is trying to make her falling in love with him in order to break the curse. However as the time goes on, Kyle felt that it is unfair for Linda and he is ready to let her go but LOVE STORY should be a HAPPY ENDING, right?! ^^

My very-own opinion:

ok this is one of the movie that excite me to go and watch once i saw the trailer on the Maju Junction's big screen! haha..however due to the money constraint, i just can download it and watch it through my lappy. ("^_____^) but still wanna express my feeling after successfully 'khatam' this SIMPLE + fiction teenager's LOVE STORY!

first of all, i should say i'm a bit disappointing since it was not as GREAT as the trailer, so guys GIVE APPLAUSE to the trailer director!! it is really a simple story here but yup, IT WAS FUN TO WATCH the extremely good looking guy, Mr. Alex Pettyfer! he is sooooooooooo sooooo HANDSOME + CUTE + sexy and for sure he is already there in my crushes list! ("^.^)

honestly nothing much i can say about it, as obviously they were selling the BEAUTY FACES of Mr. Pettyfer and Ms. Hudgens instead of selling the good story plot or giving an unforgettable impact to the audiences. NO THAT WAS NOT THEIR AIM!

hemmm.........but still wanna thank them for taking the Mary-Kate Olsen back to the cinema because i LOVE her although she is kind of weirdo with all of her controversy fashion style + extremely dieting or what-so-ever...but she is one of a GOOD ACTRESS in Hollywood! Although there are not many scenes of her in this film but still she done a good job as a 'witch' who take revenge after being humiliated by the hero!

ok ok, i wanna give my CREDIT to the cute couple of Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer) and Linda Taylor  (Vanessa Hudgens). i think they were great together and it is nice to see them again acting in another more adventure love story in the future because they got chemistry LOL~ sangat chomel! ^^

thus, i would say that ALHAMDULILLAH i don't spend my money on this movie since YUP, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY FUN TO WATCH IT but you will immediately wanna DELETE it from your lappy's RAM after done watch it! (HUH akuhh sangaat kejam kan??!! =P ) HOHOHO...i can only give 2.5 out of 5 sizzling stars!!!
